I verbally tear pieces off of Mary Beth after the mission. I make it clear to everyone that the future of the team is at stake in every decision made in that arena. There is zero room for grandstanding or cute tricks. I demand they repeat this back to me person by person. I watch their eyes when they say it.

Mary Beth suffers a list of punishments and restrictions.

I saw their eyes. I don’t believe I will have overconfidence problems in the future.
