We talk strategy for a time, but that soon morphs into marriage. He’s got questions, and sometimes I even have answers. And when I ask him how he likes being married to Mary Beth, he just grins a whole lot.

Never in my whole life would I have seen those two paired up. But as we talk, I see more clearly than I have in months, and I think of my home and Selina and our three goofbutton kids, and I realize, regardless of the outcome of tomorrow’s hearing, I have absolutely nothing to complain about.
