“So you are certain that the alarm was turned off in the utility area where the ladder is?”

Tushabe shrugs. “I don’t know how else to see it. The security auditor sees that fact on her screen every day.”

I ready another question. “Do you think that any Assembly personnel knew we were using that ladder?”

“Yup.”

“Wait, you mean you know for sure?” I ask.

“Yup. I saw a few snooping around at odd times. Nothing really obvious, but I’m pretty sure.”

“You should have been a spy, Tushabe.”

Tushabe grins. “I just keep my mouth shut and my eyes open.”
