The ready room is quiet. We’ve had our victories here and there but it’s been a rough run otherwise.

I’m proud of my athletes. They may be subdued, but they’re a steady group now. They may not yet be fully relying on each other, but their trust does thread outside of their cliques.

It’s a team, and I’m proud of them.
